[edit] The Basics

Install the program and then access the settings form your All Programs/Object Desktop/Enhanced File Dialog menu. You'll find that the program has many options that you can use to customize your file dialogs. You can change the My Places sidebar to use large or small icons, show a dropdown of recently opened files and folders, and change the view for displaying files.

In the Places Bar options you can add and remove locations to the sidebar. Just click on Browse to add your new location and you can change the order of the list.
