What Keyboard Launchpad Does
Keyboard Launchpad lets users assign hotkeys to launch variety of tasks including visiting URLs, launching applications, perform system commands, etc.
How to Use Keyboard Launchpad
The Basics
Keyboard Launchpad is available as a component of Object Desktop, and also available as a stand-alone application. Once you have opened the KLP configuration window you will have the option to configure your hotkey setup. KLP has many actions already setup for you to easily assign a key to, or you maybe configure your own custom actions with a variety of custom commands that are available.
Using KLP
You can edit a hotkey by selecting an item from the left panel.
In the right panel you can rename it, add a description, put it into a category (by entering one of the existing ones) or by entering a new category. Selecting the Assign button allows you to . . assign a keystroke pattern. (If the key combination is already in use, you will not be allowed to use it. You will have to edit the macro that is using it first.)
You can then add an action by selecting the "Add Action" button. A hot key can have multiple actions. Select the Link action to open an application shortcut or URL. The Clipboard snippit will put whatever you have copied into the macro
