User Experience
What Sysmetrix Does
Sysmetrix provides users with a skinnable method to view system statistics such as disk usage, cpu temperature, system uptime, and many other useful pieces of information. This free application can be skinned in order to change the appearance of the information shown, with skins defining what information is available to the user. Documentation is included with the application for creating new skins or modifying existing ones.
How to Use Sysmetrix
The Basics
Sysmetrix is customizable, so a good start would be to experiment with different themes available in the WinCustomize Sysmetrix Gallery. Many themes have different selections of information viewable, so its important to recognize what information you need, and what you can do without. Experiment, and learn about what options are available to you. Documentation is included with the program for learning how to create your own themes, and you can also modify existing ones in order to hide or display additional information.
Advanced Options
Sysmetrix gives access to many properties of your system. Some skins utilize all of these, but most do not. All skins can be modified depending on what information you'd like to see.
Depending on what you're wishing to view, the installation of a motherboard monitoring software may be needed. Motherboard Monitor (MBM5), which is created by Alexander van Kaam, is the application utilized to expose this information to Sysmetrix, so you'll need to install and configure it.
