[edit] Welcomes
Thanks Green. I am starting to get a feel of how it works via my user page. I have been linking to pages from the wayback machine(let me know if this is a good idea or not), editing a little at a time.
- The wayback machine seems like a fine source to me, as long as the URLs aren't going to change. *grins* --GreenReaper(talk) 23:56, 15 May 2007 (EDT)
Thanks for the welcome GreenReaper. I hope this wiki is a success and I'll be sure to contact you if I need any help. SViz 06:27, 16 July 2007 (EDT)
Hey GR, thanks a bunch. This is shaping up to be an awesome resource for both skinners both advanced and beginners alike. I'll be adding content as I'm able and time allows, but I plan to contribute as much as I can. Cheers... :) DigitalCHET(talk) 07:33, 16 July 2007
[edit] Images in tutorial info
Hi, GreenReaper. I was wondering if there was a way to put images in the tutorial info box, just as you can with the software info box. I looked at the source page for DesktopX and copied the screenshot and caption syntax but it doesn't work with tutorials. I can't figure it out. If you visit my article development page you'll see the image and caption I'm trying to put in the tutorial info box. Any help would be appreciated. SViz 07:28, 17 July 2007 (EDT)
- That's because Template:Tutorial Info had nothing in there to take a screenshot or caption. I made one at Template:Tutorial Info Screenshot that does this. Ideally we could have one do both, but I'm not sure we can do that with the extensions we have installed right now. --GreenReaper(talk) 09:12, 17 July 2007 (EDT)
- Thank you! Worked like a charm. :-) --SViz 17:30, 17 July 2007 (EDT)
Hey GR, is there a way to make the Tutorial templates (info and screenshot) to be the same dimensions as the Software Info template? Meaning the 250px screenshot size (instead of 300px) and the width of the box itself? I just think it would be better for overall consistency. I tried messing with it myself but I don't really know what I'm doing. >_< --BebiBulma 01:18, 20 July 2007 (EDT)
- I've changed it to default to 25em and added a width parameter that can be used if this needs to be tweaked. --GreenReaper(talk) 01:25, 20 July 2007 (EDT)
[edit] Help removing an info box
Hi, somehow I put two info boxes on a tutorial I did named ObjectDock: Single Tabbed Dock Drawers. I'd like to have the one that says Editing Single Tabbed Dock Drawers removed if possible. I can't seem to get rid of it. Any help would be appreciated. Also, if you could maybe remove the signature that is at the top... messiah1 12:00, 27 July 2007 (EDT)
- Looks like BebiBulma has that well in hand. :-) --GreenReaper(talk) 00:52, 27 July 2007 (EDT)
